As a documentary filmmaker and audio artist. Her work focuses on themes of race, heritage, and culture through the Black British lens and has travelled the international film festival circuit, been broadcast on BBC3, BBC News, and BBC World, and received funding from the BFI and Arts Council England.

Her art practice and healing practice are not separate, they are the same impulse. Story, sound, and space as portals for memory, reflection, and collective healing.

We Are Nature - An audio-driven piece capturing Black and Asian women who are changing the landscape of Britain through their activist work in nature. A film about joy, resistance, and the healing elements of the natural world. Shortlisted as a finalist for the Whickers Audio Awards 2023.

Sound Work

Prayer in Sound - A sound installation weaving together the voices of Barking and Dagenham residents to explore how prayer is experienced individually and collectively. Recorded voices blend with gongs and crystal bowls to create a meditative soundscape, blurring the boundaries between storytelling, ritual, and reflection. Through reverberation and spatial mixing, the voices form a sonic tapestry and portal for personal contemplation and communal resonance.

Mindful Meditation - Eastbury Manor House

A sound journey through four rooms of Eastbury Manor House, the Great Hall, the Kitchen, the Kitchen Garden, and the Painted Chamber. This is an experience for visitors to listen to with headphones in selected rooms throughout the house. In each space, sounds of the past are drawn into the present, creating soothing soundscapes to carry you gently from room to room. Each piece is a sonic nod to history, reimagined and reawakened as a mindful meditation.Coming soon.
